Marketing User Onboarding

The Confirmation page gives an overview of use-submitted info from the onboarding flow.
The Targerting & Details page is fairly straightforward. However, the MAT solution section was more complicated, since it ties in with several third-party services.

Many big brands work closely with ad agencies that handle their advertising campaigns, but for the companies whose in-house marketers have to handle advertising, Kiip has a self serve product. The idea is that a marketer could create an account, provide their ad campaign and payment information, and their ads would live in the mobile ad space.

For this project, I worked closely with account managers and sales people to learn their needs and create an onboarding flow aimed at the target audience. This was a challenging project for a few reasons: it serves a specific professional audience; it integrates with third-party services; and it requires a balance between allowing flexibility, providing features and being easy to follow.

Since this was a new product, I was able to start at the beginning, gathering info on requirements, current onboarding methods and who would be using the product. From there, I worked through early written user flows, rough wireframes and more detailed mock ups as the team iterated on the product. Overall, I got to wear many hats and learned a lot throughout the process.
